A booklet produced to accompany the "Still Lives" exhibition at The Armitt, and across Ambleside, in summer 2017.
The photographs in the publication are attributed to the lens of the Brunskill brothers of Windermere. They held a single photographic studio over a period of forty years, capturing a vast archive of 17,800 glass photographic plates. This booklet showcases just some of the remarkable workings of an early studio.
